Payment Methods Accepted
- USPS Money Order. USPS money orders shipped without waiting period.
- Personal Check. Personal checks take up to 10 business days to clear!
- PayPal, using your credit card, whether or not you have an account with PayPal.
- Note: Wisconsin residents are required to pay up to 5.6% sales tax.
Gallery Items
To purchase an item displayed in my virtual gallery (except furniture) click the "Add To Cart" button and follow the screen prompts to checkout. Furniture is currently special order only.
Variations of Gallery Items
Variations that do not require alterations, other than minor dimensional changes, will not require a design fee. To discuss a variation you may contact me as described above.
Custom Projects
On occassion I may work with a client to produce a custom design. To successfully design a piece of furniture, four primary objectives must be addressed.
- Does it do its intended job?
- Is it comfortable?
- Will it last?
- Is it attractive?
Before we meet to discuss your custom design you should consider the following points.
- Dimensions such as length, width, and height.
- Wood type such as oak, cherry, walnut or perhaps an exotic imported wood.
- Finish such as oil or varnish.
- Budget.
- Do you have any sketches of your desired design?
My fee for design work is $300 (per design). The design fee will be deducted from the purchase price should the piece be created to your order.
Deposit / Payment Schedule
- I request a 100% deposit of the design fee to begin work on your design.
- I request a 20% deposit to place your project on my schedule.
- An additional 20% deposit is requested upon starting construction.
- Very large projects may require incremental deposits during construction.
- The balance is requested upon completion prior to shipping.
Lead Time
My lead time (time from placing an order until completion) can often be several months. Please contact me for the current lead time.
At any given time I may have several projects in the negotiation stage. If I quote you a lead time and I receive a deposit from another client before yours arrives I will have to move your completion date out. If this happens, I will inform you of the extended lead time and give you the option of a full refund of your deposit.
Shipping
Shipping can easily be arranged by common carrier from my shop in S.E. Wisconsin. All shipments are fully insured.
Sorry, I am able to ship (and mail) only to the US, its territories and possessions, and APO or FPO addresses.
Please include your city and zip code for a shipping quote. Customer pays actual cost of shipping and Insurance.
Return Policy
I want you to be satisfied with your investment in my work. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please return the item undamaged, within four weeks of receipt for a full refund of your purchase price less shipping and packaging costs.
Privacy Policy
I, Bruce Erdman, will never collect, sell nor trade information about my customers to anyone, PERIOD!
