| Roman Numeral: | Logo & Year Only | The Iowa couple stopped by again in 1978 to discuss yet another built-in desk, this time for the husband.
The desk , spanning wall-to-wall, and around ten feet long complete with upper cabinets was ordered. It was made with Black Walnut. The design incorporated all the functionality he required. Some of the upper cabinet doors contained the most beautivul opal glass which really looked nice on the finished unit. The desk was delivered and installed unfinished. However, no pictures were ever taken, again. This inspired the visit in 2009 to get the pictures. As mentioned in a previous history item, we were sad to learn that the husband had passed on just a few years before this visit. Some 33 years later, the desk looks just beautiful. Because of its location in a darker room, the walnut had retained more of the original brown color. |
